This Privacy Policy explains how Manuel Müller (“we,” “us,” or “our”) handles information collected from users (“you” or “user”) of the Salesforce Picklist Manager Chrome Web Extension (the “Extension”).

1. The Extension’s Purpose

The sole purpose of this Extension is to allow users to quickly edit, update, and delete picklist values within their active Salesforce session.

2. Information We Collect

The Extension operates primarily on the client side (on your computer) and is designed to minimize data collection.

A. Information Collected and Stored Locally (Non-Transmitted)

The Extension uses the Chrome storage API to save data locally on your device. This data is not transmitted to us or any third party.

• User Preferences: Settings and configurations (e.g., UI preferences, default view settings) required to personalize the extension experience.
• Cached Data: Temporary data related to picklist structures or recent actions to improve performance.

B. Information Collected from Salesforce (User Data)

When you activate the Extension on a Salesforce page, it accesses the current page’s content, which may include:

• Picklist Values and Labels: The specific values and labels you are viewing and editing.
• DOM Structure: Information about the web page elements needed to inject the editing interface.

This information is processed locally on your device for the purpose of editing the picklist and is immediately sent back to the Salesforce application when you save changes. It is NOT stored or transmitted to us.

C. Crash and Error Reporting (Third-Party Service)

We use Sentry.io to collect anonymized data related to application crashes and errors to ensure the stability and reliability of the Extension.

• Data Collected: Error stack traces, browser version, extension version.
• Data Excluded: We explicitly configure Sentry to NOT collect any personally identifiable information (PII), Salesforce org IDs, or sensitive data from the picklist fields.

3. Information Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to others. Since the Extension does not collect PII or sensitive data, there is no user data to share with third parties, except as described below:

• Service Providers: We share anonymized error reports with Sentry.io to monitor and fix technical issues (as outlined in Section 2.C).

4. Data Security

We implement reasonable security measures designed to protect the information that is processed by the Extension. Since most data is handled locally, the security is primarily reliant on the security of your device and your Salesforce account.

5. Compliance with Legal Obligations

We will disclose information where required to do so by law or subpoena, or if we believe that such action is necessary to comply with the law and the reasonable requests of law enforcement.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Extension is not intended for use by children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
